Work from Santa Fe, 2013

In the Summer of 2013, I spent seven weeks in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I worked on mocking up pieces at a larger scale. They are constructed with gardening poles, foam core, and fluorocarbon line. I am excited about how they fly, how they interact with people at this scale, and about the play of light and shadow across their surfaces.

Many thanks to my brothers James and Paul for the space, for their tools, for their multifaceted individual skills, and for their enthusiasm and support.

Videos of SF1, SF2, and SF3 are posted in the Recent section.
